About the Role

The Accounting Assistant owns the day-to-day bookkeeping across our portfolio of companies. This is a hands-on, high-volume position that spans the full accounting cycle in a complex, multi-entity environment. The role reports directly to the Director of Finance.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities

-   Process and manage accounts payable, including coding, entry, and payment runs

-   Handle accounts receivable and client invoicing across multiple entities

-   Perform bank reconciliations with accuracy and consistency

-   Conduct collections follow-up with clients and vendors

-   Support month-end close activities

-   Maintain organized, accurate financial records across all entities

-   Assist with ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed

Preferred (Not Required)

-   Experience as an accountant or bookkeeper within a consulting firm, marketing agency, retail business, or property management company

-   Multi-entity or intercompany accounting experience

-   Interest in incorporating AI tools into accounting workflows

-   Interest in growing professionally and taking on more responsibility over time
