Essential Functions:
Serve as a Trusted Advisor
  • Build strong relationships with business owners and leadership teams
  • Deliver financial results in a clear, actionable manner
  • Play an active role preparing the team for Profitability Coaching meetings

Lead Client Accounting Functions
  • Oversee monthly accounting processes for assigned clients
  • Review and reconcile general ledger activity
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
  • Manage account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

Drive Process Excellence
  • Improve accounting workflows and reporting systems
  • Leverage technology and automation tools
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications:
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting, CAS, or outsourced accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and general ledger accounting
  • Experience with cloud-based accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred
  • CPA designation or CPA candidate
  • Experience serving multiple clients simultaneously
  • Experience working with entrepreneurial or privately held businesses
  • Familiarity with advisory-focused accounting environments
