Job Details for Accounting Assistant:

Job Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant:
  • Sort and open large quantities of mail
  • Prepares documents for scanning into software system
  • Verify data in the software system; enter return mail
  • Mail notices to claimants
  • Answers phones and emails in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assist with bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, AP/AR and tax-prep
Job Requirements for Accounting Assistant:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience working in accounting roles
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks-required
  • Must be able to pass required background screenings
