Were looking for a motivated Accountant I to join our team and support critical accounting operations that drive our organizations success. In this role, youll manage accounts payable, support financial reporting, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end processes - making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, solving problems, and contributing to a collaborative team.

What Were Looking For:

Accounts Payable

  • Process and review invoices, ensure timely payments
  • Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger
  • Resolve discrepancies and prepare adjustments
  • Manage sales and use tax filings

Bond Accounting

  • Record and reconcile investment activity (purchases, sales, income, gains/losses)
  • Track pledged securities for public funds
  • Partner with third-party vendors

Reconciliations

  • Perform DDA and bank account reconciliations
  • Balance correspondent GL accounts

Reporting & Compliance

  • Assist with ALCO reporting and month-end close
  • Support financial reporting processes
  • Ensure compliance with controls and banking regulations
  • Safeguard confidential information
