Job description

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
• Perform analytical review of all main GL accounts and investigate variances vs history and vs budget.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts & all subsidiary ledgers at the end of each month. 
• Assist the finance function with duties related to the month-end close, year-end close and outside agency audit tasks.
• Assist the CFO with the coordination of all audit activity. Includes preparation of work papers and reconciliations as 
requested by external auditors.
• Prepare monthly cash flow reports vs. budget.
• Prepare monthly financial presentation for executive leadership.
• Assist in the development, write up, modification and implementation of accounting procedures, systems and internal 
controls.
• Backup to other Finance Department positions as needed.
• Identify key business trends through KPI tracking and analysis.
• Responsible for management of fixed assets, depreciation schedules, disposals and IFRS 16 Lease accounting.
• Perform other duties as requested by the CFO.
• Be aware of company's Recycling Guidelines and Environmental Management Systems Policy.
