About Us: Forsyth & Hilario, CPAs is a dedicated provider of monthly accounting and tax services, specializing in small businesses. We are committed to empowering small businesses by delivering the financial expertise they need to thrive. This position will be a remote/in-person hybrid. Office time will be 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities: As a Staff Accountant in our firm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and success of our clients. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Conducting thorough monthly transaction categorization.
  • Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
  • Reviewing and maintaining the Chart of Accounts.
  • Performing monthly state tax filings.
  • Managing payroll processes.
  • Handling all aspects of accounting for your client base.
  • Reconciling books on a monthly basis

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
