Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Supports a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, fixed assets, and general ledger and reporting to ensure the correct reporting of revenues and costs.
STEP INTO THE ROLE
  • Gathers financial data and maintains financial reports, records, general ledgers, and account structures.
  • Maintains balance sheets and income statement accounts to accurately reflect financial activity and balances in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Assists with treasury activities associated with corporate accounts including reconciliation of bank accounts, monitoring cash balances daily to ensure adequate funding, and monitoring for potential fraud, cash requirements, and cash flow.
  • Performs monthly reconciliation of fixed assets to general ledger accounts, computes monthly asset depreciation, maintains asset tax ledgers, and performs asset disposals.
  • Proactively assists other departments with accounting matters.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of three years of general accounting experience required, including an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel experience required.

WHAT SETS YOU APART
  • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and/or Oracle Cloud preferred.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred.
  • AI Experience preferred.

$30.02 - $43.53 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
