Job description

OverviewOur client, a real estate investment firm, is seeking a strong Property Accounting Manager to join their team.
Essential Duties
  • Oversee and process Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Perform Bank and account reconciliations
  • Generate Profit and Loss statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Prepare and update financial statement forecasts and budgets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Review daily list of revenue activity to ensure accountability of activity, adjustments, tax liability and general ledger coding and posting monthly into the GL.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant real estate accounting experience
  • CPA highly preferred (or progress towards)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
