About the Role

We are actively seeking experienced Accounting Managers for interim assignments with our diverse portfolio of clients. These roles are ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments, bring immediate value, and can seamlessly integrate into existing finance teams. Assignments range from short-term coverage to multi-month engagements supporting transitions, audits, system implementations, or process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP or client-specific standards
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages
  • Assess and strengthen internal controls, identifying process gaps and recommending improvements
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and documentation
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance and ensuring continuity during transitions
  • Collaborate with client leadership, translating financial data into actionable insights
  • Assist with ERP transitions, system upgrades, or process redesigns as needed
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions depending on client scope

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles
