Are you a strategic, hands‑on accounting professional who wants a seat at the table? At Sierra Nevada Specialty Care, this isn’t just a reporting role. You’ll work directly with executive leadership and play a key part in shaping the financial direction of a growing healthcare organization.

We’re looking for someone who can think beyond the numbers, bring structure to complexity, and confidently partner with leadership across multiple business entities.

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Direct exposure to executive leadership (COO/CEO)
  • High‑impact role with visibility across the organization
  • Opportunity to influence financial strategy and long‑term growth
  • Promotional opportunities for high performers
What You’ll Do

As our Senior Accountant, you’ll lead and oversee financial operations across multiple entities while helping guide strategic decision‑making.

  • Oversee all accounting, finance, and business office functions
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Lead budgeting processes and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
  • Monitor cash flow and support capital planning efforts
  • Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate business strategies and financial feasibility
  • Manage relationships with CPAs, financial institutions, and vendors
  • Support audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects and organizational growth initiatives
What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is both detail‑oriented and forward‑thinking, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.

Experience
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience (AP/AR, general ledger, full‑cycle accounting)
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis preferred
  • Audit and financial reporting experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and reporting tools
  • Healthcare or medical billing experience is a plus
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Equivalent experience considered (8+ years in lieu of degree)
  • CPA preferred but not required
What Sets You Apart
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
Work Environment

This is an on‑site position in a professional medical office setting. The role is primarily sedentary with occasional movement throughout the clinic.
