Road & Rail Services
Administrative Assistant
Starting pay: $19.00/hr
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support through the use of computer-based systems and technology. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working primarily in a digital office environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the company's sole discretion
  • Efficiently provide administrative support determined by site management to meet the deadlines associated with corporate assignments
  • Create, edit, format, and maintain electronic documents, spreadsheets, reports, and presentations
  • Maintain confidential employee, customer, and company information in accordance with company policies

Experience Requirements:
  • Must have at least 1 year of administrative experience
  • Must be proficient in excel spreadsheets
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be able to type at least 30 WPM with minimal errors
  • Power Point knowledge preferred
  • Basic accounting skills needed
  • Data processing required

Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training:
  • Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment;
