Founded in 2021 with operations in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Van Nuys and Camarillo, California, FlyHouse is revolutionizing private aviation through our innovative business model, patent-pending mobile application platform, and commitment to safety, service, and transparency.
Position Summary
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an assigned repair station fixed location. This role ensures full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including 14 CFR Parts 43 and 145, while maintaining efficient operations, safety standards, and customer satisfaction. The Site Manager works closely with the Accountable Manager to ensure the facility is properly staffed, equipped, and operating in accordance with company policies and FAA regulations.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Oversee daily operations of the repair station fixed location in coordination with the Accountable Manager.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable 14 CFR Part 145 requirements and 14 CFR Part 43 regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Verify that the repair station maintains adequate:
    • Facilities and housing
    • Equipment and tools
    • Materials and maintenance data
    • Qualified personnel
  • Ensure all regulatory obligations and customer requirements are consistently met.
  • Establish and enforce procedures that promote a safe working environment.
  • Ensure all personnel are trained in proper safety practices, including the use and location of firefighting equipment.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding operational status, risks, and resource needs.
  • Delegate duties to qualified personnel, with approval from the Accountable Manager, while retaining overall responsibility for site performance and compliance.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have a valid driver's license and successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen and background check.
  • Certificated Airframe and Powerplant preferred
  • Experience on Gulfstreams, Globals, or Citations required
  • 5 years' experience working in an MRO environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate job-related information in English sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Thorough knowledge of and familiarity with all applicable 14 CFR Parts 43 and 145 regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operations in a regulated environment.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items not to exceed 50 pounds.

Work Environment/Expected Hours:
Primary workstation will be located at the Van Nuys Airport in an outdoor environment on airport ramps, inside aircraft hangars, and occasionally inside a standard office environment. Occasional travel may be required to Camarillo location for meetings or other business needs. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately noisy while in the office and may be loud to very loud when working outdoors requiring the use of hearing protection. Weather conditions will vary. In support of various duties, the employee may travel between facilities or to various company functions and events appropriate to job function.
Compensation
Hourly Range: $60 - $70
