Accounts Receivable Manager

Location: South Jordan, UT (Onsite 4+ days/week)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $85-$100k

What You'll Do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Receivable team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee daily billing, cash application, collections, and customer account reconciliations.

  • Monitor aging reports and collection activity to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances.

  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve billing issues and enhance the customer experience.

  • Analyze key AR metrics, including DSO, aging, collection effectiveness, and unapplied cash.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and financial reporting standards.

  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, implement best practices, and support ERP enhancements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 6+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable or accounting experience.

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, and AR best practices.

  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proven ability to build relationships across departments and lead process improvements.
