Job Description
Role Overview:
To be responsible for proactively and efficiently managing client projects; delivering jobs on time and on budget and providing a high quality service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Acting as primary contact for client and relevant advisors on each project, communicating requirements internally to the project team
• Guiding project team to deliver project most effectively and efficiently: Creative, Digital, Production Manager, Logistics Manager, Travel Manager and Roadshow Desk Manager
• Creating and managing overall project budget, from initial cost estimate to post-event reconciliation and invoicing
• Creating and updating project schedules
• Writing creative briefs and ensuring briefs are adhered to
• Working with a company's in-house marketing and creative teams, and agencies, in the development of the investor focused digital communication and the overall brand experience solution for roadshow group meetings or investor events
• Co-ordinating design and development of the roadshow/investor presentation
• Providing clients with consultative guidance on roadshow or event issues - from logistics and audio-visual issues, to design and presentation content.
• On occasion, accompanying client team throughout 2-3 week roadshow
• Researching, developing and winning new business with existing and prospective clients, and banks, including proposal documents, budgets and 'pitch' presentations
• Maintaining relationships with clients and investment bankers in order to develop ongoing business opportunities
Goals:
• Develop strong client relationships
• Keep abreast of industry news, trends and developments
• Contribute to the growth of the investor communications business in the Americas
Qualifications
Experience and skills required:
In New York, Investor Communications is small team within the larger Imagination The Americas Inc. office. As such, the right candidate must have the ability to devote equal enthusiasm to complex project management and more mundane logistical and administrative tasks as needed. Financial roadshows are the ultimate high-pressure project; extreme schedules, tough deadlines, combined with the need for supreme attention to detail.
The following attributes are therefore necessary:
• Significant prior experience in client services within an agency environment
• Experience with leading the development of corporate communications digital content / video production projects - both pre and post production
• Event management experience
• Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with high-level executives and challenging personality types
• Highly motivated and able to work on projects with minimal guidance
• Must be extremely organized, have an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
• Initiative and enthusiasm, with an ability to 'think on your feet'
• Ability to remain calm under pressure / handle stress very well
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Not averse to short notice travel at times for shoots and events
• Be prepared to work demanding hours in the office and at times on the road
• Strong math and MS Excel skills
• PowerPoint competency essential
• Previous knowledge / involvement in financial sector
