Job description

Position Summary

Tipalti's Senior Revenue Operations Manager will act as a strategic business partner to our Customer Success and Customer Onboarding leadership - driving analysis, process design, and systems strategy across the post-sale customer lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where this person will work directly alongside leadership and front-line teams to shape strategy and see it through to execution.

The ideal candidate will champion an AI-first mindset, using advanced AI platforms to streamline workflows and generate insights faster, and will excel at aggregating data from activities, operational processes, and customer performance into a unified narrative that drives cross-functional collaboration and guides executive decisions.

Why join Tipalti?

Tipalti is the AI-powered platform for finance automation, elevating how finance teams operate in the global economy. We empower our customers to scale faster and smarter by removing the complexities of doing global business and accelerating their finance operations efficiency. Our platform provides a comprehensive suite of finance automation solutions designed for mid-market businesses across accounts payable, global payouts, procurement, employee expenses, corporate cards, supplier management, tax compliance, and treasury. Tipalti partners with leading financial institutions such as Citi, Wells Fargo, J.P. Morgan, and Visa, enabling over 5,000 global companies to efficiently and securely pay millions of suppliers and payees across 200+ countries and territories, in 120 currencies.

At Tipalti, we pride ourselves on our collaborative culture, the quality of our product and the capabilities of our people. Tipaltians are passionate about the work they do, and keen to get the job done. Tipalti oers competitive benefits, a flexible workplace, career coaching, and an environment where diverse individuals can thrive and make an impact. Our culture ensures everyone checks their egos at the door and stands ready to reach for success together.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to CS and Onboarding leadership, working alongside them to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Health, Renewal & Lifecycle Analytics: Bring rigor to how the business measures customer health, renewal/expansion risk, and lifecycle performance (NDR, churn, CSAT/NPS, onboarding cycle time), surfacing trends and recommendations that inform leadership decisions.
  • Front-line Support: Work directly with customer-facing teams and managers day-to-day - advising on best practices, troubleshooting tool and process issues in real time, and keeping them current on changes to pricing, deal structuring, and internal workflows.
  • Process & Workflow Strategy: Roll up your sleeves alongside key stakeholders to identify, design, and roll out improvements to customer lifecycle processes - onboarding, renewal/escalation, compliance, service delivery.
  • Systems Strategy & Automation: Bring strong working knowledge of Gainsight, Workato, ZenDesk, Salesforce, DealHub CPQ and Zapier (or comparable tools) to identify where automation and better data flow can reduce manual work, partnering with Systems teams to scope and prioritize the build.
  • AI & Automation Proficiency: Bring practical experience creating AI agents, prompts, or advanced workflows using Claude, Glean, or similar enterprise AI solutions, and align operational plans with the organization's evolving AI roadmap to cultivate an "AI-first" culture throughout the team.
  • Ad Hoc RevOps Projects: Support broader Revenue Operations initiatives, project execution, and capacity/forecasting models (e.g., staffing ratios, book-of-business and case-volume sizing) as the function scales.

About you

  • 8+ years of related experience with at least 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations, ideally with exposure to both Customer Success motions and Onboarding-adjacent functions - comfortable operating across functions with different rhythms and stakeholders
  • Strong data fluency - comfortable in SQL, Excel/Sheets modeling, and BI tools, with the ability to turn raw data into a clear, actionable narrative for leadership
  • Hands-on experience with Gainsight, Salesforce, Workato, Glean and Zapier (or comparable CS/RevOps and automation tools) - comfortable working directly in these systems, while also knowing when to loop in Systems teams for deeper builds
  • Track record of being a true strategic partner to functional leaders - confident enough to challenge assumptions with data, diplomatically, and comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across CS, Onboarding, Sales, Product, and Finance
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building frameworks from scratch, with a bias toward action - prototypes and iterates rather than waiting for the "perfect" model
  • SaaS/subscription business experience and a track record scaling a function through growth stages preferred

Our benefits package includes:

  • Hybrid working model that requires you to be in office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
  • Competitive salary and equity
  • Matching RRSP
  • Extended benefits, Employee Assistance Program, life insurance, AD&D, LTD
  • Maternity, Paternity and Fertility Treatment benefits
  • 15 days of PTO
  • Subsidized lunch on office days
  • Fresh fruit, snacks & drinks in office
  • Phone/internet allowance
  • Regular company-wide social events
  • Multiple ERG groups celebrating our diversity and creating an inclusive culture

Base Salary Range: $104,000 - $130,000 CAD annually.

Bonus: Target bonus is $12.5% of base salary. Bonus entitlement is based on a combination of organizational results, individual performance, and relative contribution, as assessed by Tipalti in its sole discretion, to be formalized and communicated to you following your start date.

Expected Total Compensation: $117,000 - $145,250 CAD annually (includes base salary plus target bonus/commission).

The compensation information, above, reflects our reasonable expectation for this role based on several factors, including current market conditions. Final compensation will be determined through individual assessment of experience, skills, qualifications, and other job-relevant factors. Actual offers may vary within or, only in exceptional circumstances, outside the stated range based on the candidate's unique qualifications and our comprehensive evaluation process. We are committed to equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable employment laws.
