Job description

Excell Marketing is seeking a Retail Account Merchandiser to service Wilkes-Barre, PA and surrounding area. This position offers the opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced environment featuring the latest trading cards and collectible toys. As a Retail Account Merchandiser, you will service multiple retail locations each week within your assigned territory. Responsibilities include unpacking freight, stocking shelves, following planograms, and ensuring displays are organized, properly labeled, and optimized to drive sales. You will also maintain positive business relationships with store personnel and provide exceptional service during every visit

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Complete all scheduled service visits as assigned
  • Unpack and stock merchandise according to company planograms
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled displays
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with store personnel
  • Ensure timely communication with your manager and field services team via phone, email, text, and/or video calls

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Reliable transportation to travel within a one-hour radius of your territory
  • Personal smartphone with an active service plan (monthly stipend provided)
  • Basic computer and smartphone proficiency, including:
    • Accessing company applications and websites
    • Connecting to Wi-Fi networks
    • Completing reports and forms
    • Uploading/downloading documents (Word, Excel, PDF, JPG files)
    • Using email and two-factor authentication
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Professional attitude and demeanor when interacting with coworkers, store personnel, and customers

PHYSCIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs. independently onto a cart
  • Perform team lifts for items over 50 lbs. as needed
  • Frequent bending and stooping
  • Occasional kneeling or crawling to access lower shelves
  • Use of a small step stool (no more than two steps) to reach higher shelving
