Market Leader Senior Account Executive

The Senior. Account Executive will provide a leadership and support role within their sales team to achieve sales, market penetration and profit goals. They will provide specific/targeted recommendations and feedback on sales and marketing programs while assisting the Sales Manager in the training of team members through modeling successful work habits and behaviors.

Sr. Account Executive Objectives

  • Maintain individual sales results above minimum sales objectives, as outlined under "Sr. Account Executive Qualifications".
  • Understand and exemplify all aspects of Market Leader's sales process. Sr. Account Executives will accurately and ethically sell Market Leader products as well as use and embrace all Market Leader Sales tools/procedures, such as Salesforce.
  • Support team members and the sales floor as a whole by helping the leadership team create and maintain a positive and encouraging sales environment. Will assist in motivating and mentoring team members regarding sales process, training and policies, product knowledge, administrative tasks, etc.
    • Particular focus on new hire training and mentorship - Sr. Account Executives are expected to proactively help mentor and assist new team members
  • Understand and embrace culture, leadership and core values. Sr. Account Executives are role model employees who carry the message of the management team and help others understand and embrace our culture. At no times are they negative or behave in any way that would damage overall team, floor, or company health.
  • Represents the organization in a professional manner both inside and outside of the office.

Sr. Account Executive Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of Market Leader employment in the sales department.
  • Has averaged 150% to quota over the previous 6 months to qualify. Under the Market Leader Sales Compensation Plan, this would equal $45,000 in MRR over 6 months, or a $7500 MRR per month average.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the sales department.
  • Has strong knowledge of company products and services.
  • Must have proven and ongoing sales and organizational skills at Market Leader - meets sales objectives and activity levels set forth by management.
  • Assertive, self-motivated and able to motivate and encourage others by example and by using positive reinforcement.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Attends meetings and trainings on time and with consistency.
  • Has not been on an attendance or behavioral plan in the last 3 months. At no time during the previous 3 months has AE been negative in PTO.

Sr. Account Executive Agreement

The Sr. Account Executive makes a commitment to work within the policies and procedures of the sales department, to take responsibility for themselves and their actions, to ensure that they accurately understand their role and to actively participate in the program.

The Sr. Account Executive agrees to the following conditions:

  • I will work within clear and appropriate guidelines and best practices.
  • I will maintain individual sales results above my minimum sales objective/s and represent the organization in a professional manner.
  • I will support my team members by motivating, encouraging, empowering and mentoring on all facets of Market Leader success
  • I will do my best to understand and embrace culture, leadership and core values and work with my Sales Manager directly when help is needed in this area.
  • I will effectively manage my PTO, behavior and attendance.
  • I will maintain a minimum monthly average of quota ($4500 Monthly Recurring Revenue or MRR)

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $19.20 - $28.80 per hour. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
