The Wal-Mart & Club Senior Account Executive will focus on growing business within the Big Box and Club Retail Store channels. This is a rare opportunity to step into existing, growing business relationships with some of the top retailers in the country. Your key responsibility will be to deepen, evolve, and expand these important relationships by understanding the partners' needs and objectives, presenting compelling ideas and options, and closing attractive business deals.

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding partners' needs, goals, strengths and capacities and crafting solutions that move the partners' businesses forward.
  • Balance internal issues such as growth and profitability priorities, deal risk with potential, and product delivery commitments with product development and inventory timelines.
  • Protect company's value by maintaining high standards of brand identity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Enhance company reputation by adding value to partner relationships and their communities.
  • Establish credibility and deepen relationships with executives from key accounts.
  • Record important customer contacts, communication and correspondence in CRM system.
  • Meet sales objectives and targets.

We seek team members who are adept at contributing their personal expertise to a collaborative work environment. For this role, we're looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of successfully selling to Wal-Mart and Club accounts.
  • Demonstrated history of sales success in domestic retail channels. Prior experience in retail or consumer products industry experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or equivalent.
  • Strong customer-issue driven selling skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Deep business acumen and the intelligence and creativity to create compelling solutions to business needs.
  • Display consistent, high-motivation for sales, including: account development; new opportunity development; strategic sales planning; selling to customer needs; market knowledge; time management; and a positive, optimistic mindset.
  • Competent in the use of CRMs and Microsoft Office products.
