About The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Executive with strong communication and decision-making skills, high energy, and previous sales experience. Knowledge of insurance brokerage practices is an asset but not essential. If you are passionate about sales and customer success and ready to contribute to a thriving team, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Sales and retention of new accounts over $10,000 in premium
  • Create and follow through on an annual business plan
  • Effectively manage customer expectations
  • Discuss & Explain coverage to prospects/clients
  • Maintain acceptable accounts receivable for all accounts
  • Develop submissions and presentations to insurance companies and prospects
  • Cross-sell clients to other divisions within the organization
  • Answer customer inquiries
  • Maintain a full prospect pipeline at all times and respond to all internal leads
  • Keep abreast of industry practices and company procedures along with participating in training and education seminars as required.

What You'll Need for Success

  • Self-motivated, energetic, profit-motivated individual with a passion and drive to succeed
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong decision making skills and excellent judgment.
  • Must have a high energy-level
  • Previous experience and proven success in a sales role
