About the Company

Our client is a global technology consulting group with more than 800 professionals worldwide. They partner with enterprise organizations to deliver digital transformation initiatives across CRM, Salesforce, Customer Experience, Customer 360, CDP, loyalty programs, ecommerce, product design, advisory services, and custom digital applications.

As part of their continued growth in the U.S. market, they are building a more structured and scalable new-business development function.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Account Development Manager to help generate qualified enterprise pipeline and create new business opportunities.

This is not a traditional high-volume cold-calling role, nor is it a full-cycle closing position. Instead, this role sits at the intersection of strategic research, business development, and enterprise relationship building.

You will identify target accounts, research buying signals, map key stakeholders, develop thoughtful outreach strategies, and engage prospective clients in meaningful conversations. Qualified opportunities will then be transitioned to senior leadership for advancement and closure.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding complex organizations, uncovering opportunities, and creating meaningful business conversations with senior decision-makers.

Target Industries
  • Premium and Luxury Retail
  • Financial Services
  • Hospitality
Key Responsibilities
  • Build and manage target account lists aligned with growth priorities
  • Research prospective organizations, buying triggers, stakeholders, and potential entry points
  • Map decision-makers, influencers, technical stakeholders, and procurement processes
  • Develop personalized outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, referrals, partner networks, and industry events
  • Conduct initial qualification conversations with prospective clients
  • Prepare account briefs, meeting summaries, and handoff documentation for leadership
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and weekly pipeline reporting through MyVO2
  • Provide ongoing market feedback to improve messaging, positioning, and targeting strategies
What We're Looking ForRequired Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in account development, business development, SDR, BDR, inside sales, or pipeline generation roles
  • Experience supporting complex B2B sales environments
Required Skills
  • Strong account and prospect research capabilities
  • Excellent written communication and outreach skills
  • Confidence engaging with senior enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and CRM discipline
  • Self-directed, resilient, and commercially minded
  • Ability to build and improve processes rather than simply follow them
Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Digital consulting
  • Salesforce ecosystem
  • CRM platforms
  • Customer Experience (CX)
  • Loyalty programs
  • Ecommerce
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Clienteling solutions

Additional preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience selling into enterprise accounts
  • Exposure to retail, luxury, financial services, or hospitality sectors
  • Experience running research-driven outbound business development programs
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $110,000–$130,000
  • Bonus: $30,000–$45,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $140,000–$175,000

The compensation structure is intentionally base-heavy, with variable compensation tied to pipeline generation performance, including qualified meetings and accepted opportunities.

Why This Role?

This is an opportunity to play a foundational role in building a strategic enterprise business development engine within a growing global consulting organization. You'll work closely with senior leadership, engage with enterprise decision-makers, and directly influence pipeline creation across priority industries.

If you enjoy combining research, strategy, and relationship-building to create meaningful business opportunities, we'd love to hear from you!
