Job description

Working at memoryBlue will accelerate your professional growth and place you on the path to success early in your sales career. Whether you're aiming to jump-start a high-tech sales career in Silicon Valley or help us haul in the next crop of talented sales development professionals in our DC Metro Headquarters, we have immediate job openings in all of our offices from coast-to-coast.

Account Development Representative

Please note: This is an on-site position in either our Dallas, Denver, or DC office

The Role:

As the first touchpoint in the sales cycle, Account Development Representatives (ADRs) play a pivotal role in driving new business. At memoryBlue, you'll be the one opening doors - researching, connecting, and sparking conversations that lead to high-value opportunities for our clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Research and build targeted lists of prospects who could benefit from a client's tech product or service.
  • Reach out to those prospects through strategic, personalized outreach to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Qualify and guide interested prospects to the next stage by booking meetings with the client's Account Executive.
  • Continuously sharpen your sales development skills while exploring exciting career paths in high-tech sales.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with new people
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed
  • Coachable, resilient, and receptive to feedback
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Willingness to make outbound calls, handle rejection, and consistently work toward performance goals

Perferred

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, athletics, recruiting, or other people-facing roles

What to Expect

ADRs joining Strategic programs should expect an intensive onboarding period (typically 30–60 days) during which process infrastructure may not yet exist, technology integrations may be in flux, and account data will require significant enrichment before outreach can begin. This is by design — and compensated accordingly.

ADRs who excel in this environment are those who treat ambiguity as opportunity, take ownership of outcomes beyond their activity metrics, and communicate proactively when blockers arise.

Growth & Mobility

ADRs are staffed from a shared bench and may be redeployed across programs as engagements evolve. Strong performers will have visibility into higher-complexity programs, expanded account ownership, and a pathway to Senior Delivery roles within the organization.

Compensation & Perks

  • Base + Uncapped Commission totaling ~$60,000 OTE
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Generous PTO
  • Performance-based incentives, including President's Club trips
  • Pet insurance and additional lifestyle benefits
