Job description

KOCO-TV, Hearst Television's ABC affiliate in Oklahoma City, OK, has an opening for an Account Executive. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to local businesses, developing and executing data-driven, multiplatform marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. You'll leverage the power of broadcast, streaming (CTV/OTT), digital, CRM systems and AI-enabled tools to help clients grow and compete in today's evolving media landscape.

What You'll Do
As an Account Executive, you will drive revenue and build long-term client partnerships through multi-platform advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue by selling integrated TV, digital, and multi-platform advertising solutions 
  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and key decision-makers 
  • Manage and grow an active book of business through ongoing client engagement 
  • Develop strategic, data-informed marketing solutions using audience insights, CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics), and AI-enabled tools 
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations that align with client objectives 
  • Negotiate pricing and maximize revenue across accounts 
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales targets 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client success and overall team performance

  • 3+ years of sales experience (media, digital, or related field) 
  • Proven success in new business development

  • Experience using data, analytics, or AI tools to support business decisions or sales efforts 
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to perform in a goal-driven environment 
  • Experience working directly with decision-makers 
  • Strategic mindset with focus on results 
  • Strong work ethic and accountability 
  • Team-oriented approach 
  • Related military experience will be considered
  • Valid drivers license required
