Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Account Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and growing strategic relationships with large residential property management organizations through a combination of new business acquisition, account expansion, and long-term relationship management. This role leads complex enterprise sales cycles, identifies customer business challenges, and aligns Inhabit's portfolio of solutions to drive measurable business outcomes. Partnering with cross-functional teams, the Enterprise Account Executive serves as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, supporting adoption, retention, and revenue growth.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full commercial relationship within an assigned enterprise territory, including new customer acquisition, account expansion, cross-sell, upsell, and strategic account development.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, account-based research, referrals, industry networking, trade shows, and coordinated marketing initiatives.
  • Develop relationships with executive sponsors, operational leaders, financial stakeholders, and key decision-makers within target accounts.
  • Conduct consultative discovery to understand customer business objectives, operational challenges, technology environments, and growth opportunities.
  • Position and sell the most appropriate combination of products and services based on customer needs and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and present proposals, business cases, pricing strategies, and solution recommendations that demonstrate operational and financial value.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, contract negotiations, legal reviews, and executive approvals.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity management, account plans, and CRM documentation.
  • Partner with Customer Success, Product, Sales Engineering, Industry Principals, and other internal teams to support successful implementation, adoption, retention, and expansion.
  • Lead strategic account reviews to identify growth opportunities, assess customer outcomes, and mitigate business risks.
  • Monitor customer adoption, satisfaction, and business performance to proactively address challenges and support long-term relationship success.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, and other business development events.
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback regarding industry trends, competitive activity, pricing strategies, operational challenges, AI, centralization, and emerging technologies.

Experience and Education Requirementsย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and enterprise sales experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B SaaS, technology, PropTech, FinTech, payments, or other complex solution-selling environments.

  • Proven success developing new business while growing and expanding existing strategic accounts.

  • Demonstrated ability to build pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and account-based selling strategies.

  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with significant revenue targets and long sales durations.

  • Strong consultative selling, discovery, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to establish credibility with both executive leaders and operational stakeholders.

  • Experience developing account strategies, identifying expansion opportunities, and driving multi-product adoption.

  • Strong business acumen, forecasting discipline, and CRM management skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage a large territory, and navigate organizational complexity.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling to multifamily housing, residential property management, real estate, student housing, or related industries.

  • Familiarity with property management platforms such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, AppFolio, ResMan, or similar solutions.

  • Experience with land-and-expand sales strategies, platform selling, and strategic account growth.
