Business Development Associate – Drive Growth in Elevator Maintenance & Modernization


Job Overview

  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (Weekends and Overtime as required)
  • Target Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 + Commission & Performance Bonus Structures


The Opportunity

You will play a key role in growing Orange Elevator Company’s customer base by developing new relationships and identifying opportunities for elevator maintenance, repair, modernization, and equipment upgrades. This position is ideal for a motivated sales professional who understands how to build trust with property managers, building owners, facility directors, general contractors, and condominium associations. You will manage the sales process from prospecting and site visits through proposal follow-up and account development, while partnering closely with our operations and technical teams to deliver solutions tailored to each customer’s elevator needs.


How You Will Make an Impact

  • Proactively identify and qualify new business prospects through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Generate a consistent pipeline of sales leads for high-value elevator maintenance agreements and repair services.
  • Introduce property managers, building owners, and facility directors to Orange Elevator’s modernization solutions.
  • Conduct independent field research to discover aging vertical transportation systems requiring upgrades.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to seamlessly hand off qualified opportunities for closing.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of competitive market dynamics to position our services effectively.


Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in professional sales, business development, or lead generation.
  • Experience selling technical service contracts and working with property managers, condominium associations, building owners, and/or facilities professionals
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for B2B environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage a pipeline, and stay organized under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build instant rapport with prospective commercial and residential clients.
  • A valid driver's license to travel to prospective client sites.


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is a plus.
  • Prior sales experience within the elevator, construction, HVAC, or facility services industries.
  • Existing network of commercial real estate contacts, building owners, or property management companies.
