Job description

Business Development Associate
Department: Business Development & Partnerships
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: San Francisco
Description
Partnerships are how Reactor grows, and this role sits at the center of them. You will be an early BD hire, working directly with the Head of BD & Partnerships, with real partners and real agreements in your hands from the start.
You will be the person who keeps things moving. The one who leaves a partner call knowing exactly what has to happen next, pulls the right people together to make it happen, and catches what is drifting before it turns into a problem.
What You'll Do
  1. Contracting: Take agreements from handshake to signature. Work with legal, finance, and ops to land terms that hold up, and keep the process quick.
  2. Account management: Own a set of partner relationships. Understand what each partner is building and what they need from us, then bring that back to the teams who can deliver it.
  3. Renewals and growth: Know your accounts well enough to see a renewal or an expansion coming long before it lands on a calendar.
  4. Strategic partnerships: Build a real view on where the market is going and who we should be talking to. Run the outreach yourself and carry the good conversations through to launch.
  5. CRM: Own our system of record. Pipeline decisions get made off what you keep, so keep it honest.
  6. Reporting: Run the weekly review. Say plainly what moved, what is stuck, and what needs a decision.

What We're Looking For
  • You have 1 to 3 years in business development, partnerships, or a comparable commercial role. How you work matters more to us than how long you have worked.
  • You are organized to a fault. Nothing falls through: not a commitment made on a call, not a date on a calendar.
  • You are comfortable with reviewing agreements. You can read one closely, notice when something does not match what was discussed, and ask the right question.
  • You write clearly. Short and warm with partners, direct with us.
  • You default to action. You would rather send the follow-up, draft the first version, or make the introduction than wait to be told it is yours.
  • You thrive in ambiguity and speed. We are early and moving fast. You are energized by that, not intimidated.
  • Mandarin is a plus, not a requirement.

Benefits
  • Competitive SF salary and meaningful equity in an early-stage company backed by top investors
  • Direct ownership of partner relationships from your first month
  • Direct access to founders and influence over product direction
  • Visa sponsorship and relocation support
  • Generous health, dental, and vision coverage
