Description JOB DESCRIPTION: The Army Navy Business Group currently has a career opportunity for a Knowledge Management (KM)/Information Management (IM) specialist to provide support to U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC), Director of Fleet and Joint Training Directorate (N7) in Virginia Beach, VA The ideal candidate will be a seasoned Knowledge Manager with experience in naval training events and exercises. Echelon III or higher staff experience and a working knowledge or understanding of U.S. Navy fleet training programs and the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP) are a must for this position. In addition, he/she will have excellent public speaking, presentation, and time management skills, as well as at least eight (8) years of applicable program analyst experience in: * U.S. Navy fleet and/or Joint training operations, policy, doctrine, systems, and staff procedures, including an understanding of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP), Fleet Response Training Plan (FRTP), Fleet Training Continuum (FTC) and other Navy training policies * Managing/ prioritizing large, complex projects involving numerous stakeholders * Team and/or project leader * Leading working groups and cross functional teams * Leveraging best practices and handling multiple tasks and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables * Engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level in both written and oral format * Conducting fleet training analysis/assessment to identify gaps, training needs and solutions Specific Functional Area duties include, but not limited to: * Provide SharePoint expertise to build and maintain forms and trackers, utilizing Power Apps, SharePoint Designer, and custom coding as needed * Develop and maintain the USFF/CPF TASKORD Live Tracker by linking and integrating Jira, Confluence, and Maximo * Create and maintain a searchable and filterable document databases on SharePoint. * Provide administrative support for meetings, conferences, and working groups, including managing digital action items and documentation. * Ensure all team-managed databases, e.g., Excel databases, and SharePoint sites are properly maintained, secured, and accessible to authorized personnel. Qualifications REQUIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION / SKILLS: * U.S. citizen with Bachelor of Arts or Science degree and Top Secret clearance
* 6 years of experience as a SharePoint Site Collection administrator and developer. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
* Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), SharePoint Designer, Jira, and Confluence
* Experience with Excel functions including pivot tables and data analysis tools
* Experience with knowledge management best practices within a DoD environment
* Superior writing and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and closely with senior personnel DESIRED BACKGROUND / EDUCATION / SKILLS: * Comprehensive knowledge of Fleet training support requirements, including pre-deployment and sustainment
* Knowledge of military command structure, missions, and organizational relationships
