Job description

Internal Training & Communication:

  • Lead internal training sessions for key business systems and processes
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Field Service, Engineering, HSE) to develop and deliver technical and compliance-related training programs.
  • Design engaging communication strategies to promote training initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Manage internal HSE training documentation, compliance reporting, and knowledge-sharing efforts across North America.
  • External Customer-Facing Programs:
  • Partner with BTS technical resources to develop and deliver customer training on existing and legacy systems, including on-site and virtual formats.
  • Design and market customer-centric training materials (manuals, virtual products, and updates for legacy equipment).
  • Develop, organize and produce customer events such that enhance customer engagement and reinforce Valmet's value proposition
  • Create new "Service School" style programs tailored to evolving customer needs and industry trends.
  • Sales & Program Management:
  • Establish pricing models for customer training packages, create quotations, and oversee invoicing for completed projects.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Service teams to develop agreement-based training programs
  • Track project costs and manage training program financials to meet or exceed budget targets.

Requirements:

  • Ability to develop communication strategies that support learning initiatives and enhance employee and customer engagement.
  • Experience working with field service, engineering, or manufacturing teams is a strong advantage.
  • Comfort in balancing creative PR/communications skills with process-driven training development.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate technical information into accessible and actionable content.
