We're seeking a talented Strategic Program Manager to join our Office of Strategy at our downtown Greenville, SC headquarters and play a pivotal role in positioning Purpose Financial to deliver on its Executive Strategy. In this role, you'll report to the Director, Strategic Program Management and serve as a key driver of cross-functional collaboration, strategic roadmap development, and performance management. This position is perfect for someone who thrives on analytical problem-solving, facilitating alignment across diverse teams, and translating complex strategic initiatives into measurable business outcomes.

What Youโ€™ll Do

The Strategy and Strategic Program Manager will play a key role in positioning Purpose Financial to deliver on its Executive Strategy through aligning the organization towards common objectives, monitoring and communicating strategic outcomes. This role will facilitate cross functional collaboration to achieve alignment and delivery of the key initiatives with measurable milestones/success metrics. Evolve and execute effective governance and corporate strategy to ensure completion of the strategic initiatives and priorities in pursuit of delivering business outcomes aligned with a 3-year strategic plan. Essential skills for this role: Analytical and strategic mindset, critical thinking, entrepreneur mindset / experience, stakeholders management, crossโ€‘functional collaboration, effective communications, project management. This individual must be selfโ€‘motivated, flexible, and willing to learn and develop new skills as business needs change. This role operates within the Office of Strategy and regularly interfaces with executive management.

What Youโ€™ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in strategy or strategic program performance management in a crossโ€‘functional environment (financial services industry preferred)
  • 3+ years of strategic planning and performance management experience
  • 3+ years of strategic project management and governance experience, including tracking projects and communicating progress to senior management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data analysis, and visualization required (Tableau preferred)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with ability to interpret data insights, identify opportunities, and influence changes at all levels
  • Exceptional leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills with ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to executive management
  • Ability to connect and facilitate multiple people/functions toward a common outcome
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, highโ€‘volume, fastโ€‘paced environment
  • Understanding of technology and operations, particularly in consumer financial operations (inโ€‘depth understanding of financial services preferred)
