This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility and work-life balance alongside the dynamic nature of outpatient care. Counselors will engage in virtual sessions with patients using secure digital platforms, transitioning to in-office visits as needed for assessments or treatments. • Perform thorough mental health assessments to evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions through various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups addressing prevalent mental health challenges to build community and provide vital support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure integrated care that echoes our commitment to whole-person health.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, implementing de-escalation tactics and support strategies during emergencies.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, empowering them with knowledge about treatment plans, coping strategies, and community resources.
• Maintain precise and respectful documentation of patient interactions and treatments in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Actively engage in case consultations, team meetings, and continued professional development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment practices, and therapeutic methodologies.
• Proven experience in conducting detailed mental health assessments along with crafting and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy catering to diverse client populations is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients and team members.
• Sound judgment and a commitment to professional ethics and boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and strong computer proficiency.
• A collaborative spirit, demonstrating a willingness to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve collective goals.

• Previous experience in outpatient mental health settings is preferred but not required.
• Specializations in trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic techniques will be beneficial.
• Demonstrated expertise in group facilitation and educational programming.
