Position Overview

Access Mind Counseling LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our remote team in Lowell, Massachusetts. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide virtual therapy services, focusing on maintaining a client caseload of at least 25 clients. As a key member of our therapeutic team, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while contributing to the well-being of clients across diverse backgrounds.

About the Organization

At Access Mind Counseling LLC, we are committed to delivering high-quality mental health care, specifically tailored for adults dealing with varying mental health challenges. Our private psychotherapy practice operates with a strong ethical framework, emphasizing client-centric approaches that drive positive change. By investing in both our clients' well-being and our providers’ professional growth, we foster an environment where high standards of care can flourish.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for an adaptable work-life balance. We believe that our therapists should concentrate on client care while we handle the essential administrative tasks, such as client marketing, insurance verification, credentialing, and billing. This support structure empowers our clinicians to focus solely on what they do best—helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s specific needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy, to facilitate client progress and healing.
  • Maintain a minimum of 25 clients, providing consistent and ongoing support through virtual sessions.
  • Document client interactions and treatment plans within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  • Engage in consultation with clinical staff and participate in regular supervision to promote ongoing professional development.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with adult clients aged 18 and older, addressing a variety of mental health concerns. Our practice values diversity and inclusivity, with particular interest in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and men’s mental health. The ability to connect with and support a diverse patient population is essential, as we aim to create a welcoming environment for all individuals seeking help.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • Active LICSW license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in providing psychotherapy.
  • Professional malpractice insurance is required to ensure confidence in your practice.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with therapeutic modalities such as CBT and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Background working with the LGBTQIA+ community, though not mandatory.
  • Experience supporting men's mental health and providing care to individuals from minority and diverse populations would be advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a range of benefits designed to support your personal and professional well-being:

  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your lifestyle.
  • Administrative assistance for billing and insurance matters.
  • Health and life insurance coverage.
  • Professional malpractice insurance for peace of mind.
  • A wellness plan aimed at fostering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Joining our team opens avenues for personal development through continued education and training. As a member of Access Mind Counseling, you will have access to resources that promote clinical excellence and professional advancement, fostering your skill set in a supportive environment.
