Installation Coordinator (IC)
The Install Coordinator (IC) for SAT will manage key customer projects locally for the branch. This position will serve as the handoff from the Territory Manager (TM) to Operations on install projects for our organization. The Install Coordinator will work hand in hand with the TM to oversee all aspects of a project and be responsible to help deliver the project on time, per scope and within budget. From the time the TM sends submittals until the IC schedules labor, the IC is responsible for all aspects of comprehensive job planning to ensure resources are deployed correctly and used as efficiently as possible. In the post-installation stage, the IC also serves as the primary customer contact for administrative closeout, finalizing documentation with the customer to ensure timely payment for completed work. The Install Coordinator will be the primary customer contact, driving administrative closeout activities, finalizing documentation to secure timely payment, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.
What You Will Do:
  • Manage the relationship with the customer and internal SAT departments
  • Providing clear communications between customer and all SAT departments
  • Attend coordination meetings & trainings as required by customer
  • Meet with customers to clarify specific job site requirements
  • Assist in the technical feasibility of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Provide Take Offs & be able to provide other project related details for Territory Manager and Operations
  • Job Site Readiness Checks to ensure project following schedule
  • Work with IC to develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Coordinate and document changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints
  • Give guidance when needed to techs; provide on site supervision
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Provide assistance to customer in obtaining close out docs & signatures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience as a project coordinator in a construction or industrial environment.
  • Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
  • Taking ownership of larger projects and being the eyes & ears for SAT locally at these jobsites.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing.
  • Project Management or Finance experience.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 systems.
