IERUS participates in projects that address weapon systems engineering and the application of advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques as well as RF/Optical hardware prototyping and low rate production. We generally seek to apply agile development fundamentals across our corporate portfolio to accelerate technology development timelines. The end goal being early discovery, accelerated development, and high customer engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Hardware Program Manager/Product Owner will manage a RF Product line portfolio, and lead cradle to grave ownership of products within the portfolio. You will manage the lifecycle of products within the portfolio, and coordinate and communicate the sunset for legacy products. The Program Manager and Product Owner will ensure technical roadmap is created and followed for future development. You will work with the Chief of Products and Production to provide production staff and complete production. Maintain and grow customer relationships. Establish and grow product market.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, plus 5+ years of experience in program management; OR Degree in Management, plus 10+ years of experience in performing technical program management department of defense programs;
  • 10+ years of experience;
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance;
  • Secret security clearance;
  • Experience in overseeing hardware and/or operational military projects;
  • Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members;
  • Experience in at least two of the following: Operations Agile Development, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, RF Hardware, Production under AS9100D or equivalent, and Data Analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters in Engineering or Engineering Management;
  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance;
  • Engineering and technical management experience in the defense industry;
  • Productization experience from prototype to Low Rate Initial Production;
  • Proven capabilities in team facilitation and development.
