Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide ACAS and vulnerability management support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex.ย  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct network-based and standalone ACAS scans to scan standalone systems.
  • Configure and generate customized scan reports and provide scan data to Cybersecurity personnel.
  • Ensure scheduled scans are covering 100% of intended assets and run successfully while meeting a 98% credentialed access rate for all devices included in the Network Address Declaration (NAD).
  • Document steps required to design the ACAS solution for each network to include IP address, Fully Qualified Domain Name, and physical location of each component.
  • Perform vulnerability scans to include analysis of results, identification of false positives, exceptions, and subsequent POA&Ms and/or MFRs creation, monitoring and reporting to include POA&M status and contributions to Monthly and Quarterly reports.
  • Provide scanning and operations support to include supporting the test/scanning environment, licensing, target asset refreshes, and credentials.
Qualifications

3+ years experience as an ACAS Administrator on a military productionย  network.ย  HS diploma or GED.ย  Must be Security+ certified.ย  Must be Tenable.sc Specialist certified.ย  Knowledge of ACAS products, including Security Center, Nessus Scanner, Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS), and applicable best practice guides.ย  Able to install, configure, and deploy new scanners, scan groups and repositories using Security Center while following DoD guidance/policies.ย  Excellent communication skills and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues. ย Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.ย
