Pay:$47,000/ annually

Schedule -ย Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday - Friday

Whatย you will be doing:ย You'll be responsible for the high school equivalency (HSE) applied academics, evening studies, and driver's education programs. Supervises the academic instructors assigned to HSE and the driver's education instructors. Responsible for assisting with management of all academic programsย 

Essential functions:ย 

  1. Plan, coordinate, and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of the HSE, applied academics, evening studies, and driver's education programs.ย 
  2. Monitor academic performance reports for quality and accuracy. Develop program enhancement strategies to meet PMS expectations. Track statistical performance on a weekly basis to ensure program goals are met.
  3. Provide the academic manager support in implementing department and personnel changes as approved by the Center Director
  4. Provide the academic manager assistance in monitoring and controlling expenditures; review and recommend changes to budget authorizations
  5. Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting the academic department and specifically the HSE, driver's education and applied academic programs
  6. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports

Education and Experience Requirements:ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in education or associated field and two (2) years of related experience, one (1) of which must be in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record, unless waived by management
