This is a part time position with varying hours between 1st and 2nd shift. Weekend availability is required.

Position Summary:
Greet and assist members and guests who enter the Plaza Fitness Center. Ensure guest satisfaction by fulfilling any requests made by patrons of the fitness center. As a Fitness Center Attendant you will greet the guest, care for the equipment, pool and facility.
Ideal Candidate:
โ€ข Previous fitness and/or pool experience preferred.
โ€ข Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly and outgoing personality.
โ€ข Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
โ€ข To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Essential Functions:
โ€ข Actively look for ways to assist our guests by going above and beyond to provide guest service.
โ€ข Basic Microsoft Office and computer usage.
โ€ข Receive and understand Pool Chemical / Operation training.
โ€ข Perform pool chemical maintenance and cleaning of pool and hot tubs.
โ€ข Ensuring the quality and level of service that the General Manager, Fitness Center Manager, Manager on Duty and Guests expect.
โ€ข Reads and understands all memos that pertain to the Fitness Center.
โ€ข Must be or become TIPS certified.
โ€ข Complete all daily responsibilities/cleaning checklists.
Daily Responsibilities:
โ€ข Pool and Hot tub chemical testing.
โ€ข Ensure cleanliness of locker rooms, pool area, workout area and seasonal recreation area.
โ€ข Ensure trash/recyclables are taken out.
โ€ข Follow AHC guest service standards.
โ€ข Food and Beverage Sales while conducting proper cash handling.
โ€ข Any other additional responsibilities that may be asked by General Manager, Guest Care Manager, Manager on Duty or Supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate:
- Is regularly required to stand, walk and run
- Is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
- Is required to frequently reach with hands and arms
- Is regularly required to talk or hear; taste or smell
- Is occasionally required to sit and stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
