The Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of the organization's projects, typically with a scope of up to $5M, and focused on point solution (PS) and/or distributor projects. This role focuses on strengthening project leadership skills, cross-functional awareness, contributing and the ability to contribute to engineering in moderately complex environments.
The role focuses on developing project management fundamentals, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and change management. It emphasizes collaboration and relationship-building within project teams, while helping align project outcomes with stakeholder expectations under the guidance execution leadership.
Operating with guidance and supervision, the Project Coordinator develops and leverages project management skills to:
oSupport project teams through various project execution phases, seeking support and guidance when needed.
oContribute to ensuring project execution aligns with organizational strategy and business goals.
oContribute to the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
oSupport a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams.
oComplete engineering design in either mechanical or controls engineering scope.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$65,000 - $85,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

As Consulting Coordinator, you'll be the engine that keeps our Consultative Services team running smoothly - coordinating schedules, maintaining project systems, tracking milestones, and ensuring stakeholders stay aligned. This hands-on role offers the chance to shape processes, drive measurable improvements in on-time execution, and grow within a fast-paced consulting environment.

The Consulting Coordinator supports the Consultative Services Team by ensuring activities are organized, documented, and executed efficiently. The role focuses on the coordination and scheduling of the team's activities, monitoring progress toward established deadlines, maintaining and reporting key metrics, and facilitating communication among stakeholders to ensure key objectives are delivered on time and in alignment with business objectives. This role is intended to be the first step for a career path in Consulting. As the person grows in the role, they are expected to take more ownership over specific consulting engagements, generate recommendations reports, and work closely with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own project set up across business systems
  • Coordinate project and resource scheduling, including calendar and capacity planning
  • Maintain systems and task trackers for internal reporting
  • Organize and document internal and external meetings
  • Track execution milestones and deliverables to ensure established deadlines are met
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and escalate issues as necessary
  • Assist in preparation for customer facing and external reporting
  • Facilitate communication with cross functional teams including internal and external stakeholders

Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or equivalent experience in project coordination, administration, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively with a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently while supporting a team
  • Strong Microsoft Office skill set, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is preferred
