Job description

Hexcel is currently seeking a Senior HRIS Analyst for our Salt Lake City, UT location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Partner with an external Project Manager to support the endtoend implementation of UKG Time & Attendance over an 18month period
  • Act as the primary HRIS subject matter expert for time tracking and absence requirements, translating business needs into system configuration
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing, data validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Support change management activities, including documentation, training materials, and enduser support readiness
  • Serve as the primary system owner for UKG Time & Attendance post golive, including configuration, enhancements, and issue resolution
  • Manage ongoing system audits, new feature deployments, testing cycles, and system upgrades to ensure data integrity and system performance is optimum
  • Administer and maintain U.S. absence and leave plans in Workday, including configuration changes and compliance updates
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to ensure alignment with HR policies, collective bargaining agreements, and regulatory requirements
  • Troubleshoot complex time, absence, and leave issues, providing rootcause analysis and sustainable solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Time & Attendance and/or Absence Management
  • Handson experience with UKG in a multi-state and union environment for 1,000+ employees is preferred
  • Experience supporting system implementations in a matrixed organization
  • Strong understanding of timekeeping, absence, and leave compliance (e.g., FMLA, state leave programs)
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with external consultants and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and interpret reports and dashboards using UKG Pro Reporting, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities across project and operational workstreams
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and nontechnical audiences
