THE WORK:
  • You'll lead management teams at all levels across large projects and accounts.
  • You'll work with account leadership, client commercial and business stakeholders to understand client needs and priorities.
  • You'll develop staff across multiple projects and accounts taking responsibility for supporting performance management activities. 
  • You'll take accountability for identification, escalation and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues working with leadership to ensure the best outcome for all parties. 
  • You'll engage in pre-award sales activities, assist with deal shaping, negotiate commercial and contractual outcomes with sales teams and business leadership, including contract drafting support. 
  • You'll be client facing and have a key role in building trusted relationships with client counterparts.
  • You'll be a leader as well as team player, collaborative and persuasive.
  • You'll be able to work well with executives and non-executives.  
  • Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Minimum 10 yrs. relevant experience as a contract manager with exposure to complex deals
  • Proven team management experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with client executives at all levels of the organization and be capable of supporting discussions to influence key commercial and contracting decisions
  • Significant understanding of commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices; and commercial contracting terms and conditions.
  • Open to work with and understand cross-cultures and locations throughout the Accenture global organization. 
  • Member of International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM) or National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and/ or professional certification considered a plus.
