JOB SUMMARY

The Bartender is responsible for providing the guests with excellent service in a timely manner and to assist the beverage servers with orders to assure quality guest service and provide patrons with a favorable gaming experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consistently prepares drinks according to Hard Rock Sioux City recipes and specifications for guests and fulfills cocktail servers’ orders in a timely manner
  • Responsible for cleanliness of the bar area.
  • Assists with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product.   
  • Responsible for preparing and selling all drinks on the menu and handling all transactions in accordance with cash handling policy.
  • Responsible for set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as necessary.            
  • Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
  • Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
  • Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to guest limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
  • Interacts and speaks with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty to occur
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash registers, and the company’s beverage system.
  • Maintaining interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
  • Oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high pressure, high volume demands.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • A high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience preferred.  
  • Two or more years of experience bartending preferred.
