Lab Technicians -
Full time positions are available on First & Second, to fit your schedule.
1st shift: 6am-2:30pm CST
2nd shift: 3:30pm-12 CST
As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include:
• Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.
• Receive incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process.
• Ship lenses and frames to multiple locations across the United States.
• Operate state of the art equipment in thin film coating processes.
• Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.
• Learn multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers.
• Learn quality control process.
• Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn job skills that last a lifetime and cross train in additional areas around the lab.
As a Full time Lab Technician, you will be eligible for:
• Pay based on experience plus up to $1 shift differential for second and third shift.
• 3 weeks of paid time off per year, which increases as you grow with ABB.
• Full Benefit package including health, dental, disability, life, and vision insurance.
• 401K retirement plan with a 3 ½% company match.
• Up to $5,250 of tuition reimbursement per year
• Temperature controlled work environment with casual dress.
To become a Lab Technician, you will need to:
• Be a team player with a positive attitude who strives to perform at your best daily.
• Have attention to detail, accuracy, repetition, and fine motor skills.
• Be able to stand for most of your shift and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach throughout your shift.
• Have the ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15.00-17.00 per hour. This represents the good-faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.
Actual pay will be based on job-related factors, which may include:
  • Geographic location
  • Relevant experience
  • Education and qualifications
  • Job-related skills
  • Internal equity considerations
  • Applicable minimum wage laws

This position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
