For the High Voltage Switchgear unit in Brno at Videnska, we are looking for a new colleague for the position of Electrical Designer.

The main task of this position is to process the design part of the drawing documentation for HV switchgear and design atypical solutions. The position is suitable for graduates as well as experienced designers with experience.

Job description:

Getting acquainted with the department's operations, production of high-voltage switchgear and training on high-voltage products

Working in Eplan software (we will teach complete beginners everything)

Active participation in teleconferences within the framework of the projects being processed

Possibility of business trips around the world

Preparation of documents for production and testing laboratory

Cooperation across the company - mainly with the tender and sales departments

Who we are looking for:

Secondary/higher education in electrical engineering

Basic knowledge of technical standards (CSN EN 62271-200 / CSN EN 61439)

Orientation in drawing documentation

User knowledge of CAD (EPLAN or AutoCAD)

Precision, independence, willingness to learn new things

Logical, analytical and systems thinking

Knowledge of English (min. B1) and Czech/Slovak (min. B2), another language an advantage

Excellent communication skills

Internship welcome to a similar position
