Silver Spring, Maryland | Behavioral & Educational Solutions (BES)

Behavioral & Educational Solutions (BES) is seeking an experienced ABA Clinical Director to lead and grow our ABA services across clinic and home-based settings. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a BCBA who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and building high-quality, ethical programs.

Position Overview

The Clinical Director provides leadership over all aspects of ABA service delivery, ensuring effective clinical systems, strong staff performance, and high-quality outcomes. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support growth while maintaining a strong commitment to individualized care.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership
  • Oversee ABA clinical operations including intake, assessment, treatment planning, and case supervision

  • Provide ongoing supervision and mentorship to BCBAs, RBTs, and Student Analysts

  • Support hiring decisions and build a high-performing clinical team

  • Collaborate with leadership on program development and expansion

Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Monitor clinical performance and implement improvement plans as needed

  • Ensure compliance with Maryland LBA requirements, BACB standards, and payer guidelines

  • Conduct regular audits and maintain documentation quality

  • Ensure treatment fidelity and consistency across services

Training & Staff Development
  • Mentor newly certified BCBAs and supervise individuals pursuing certification

  • Develop onboarding and ongoing training programs

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

  • Support leadership development within the clinical team

Clinical Excellence
  • Review assessments, behavior plans, and treatment data

  • Conduct fidelity observations and provide actionable feedback

  • Ensure delivery of evidence-based, individualized interventions

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in ABA, Psychology, or a related field

  • Active BCBA certification with Maryland LBA (or eligible) or Licensed Psychologist

  • Minimum of 5 years of ABA experience, including supervision/leadership

  • Strong knowledge of insurance-funded ABA services and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and maintain clinical quality
