1. Education: Graduate of Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or related healthcare program. Associate degree or higher preferred. 2. Training and Experience: Minimum of one (1) year experience in radiology, diagnostic imaging, outpatient, or physician-based coding preferred. Promotes proper utilization of coding resources to support efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care.
Physical Effort: Works in a well-lighted, air-conditioned office environment with occasional interaction with radiology and patient care departments to obtain additional information.
