???? Digital Reporter – Legal Proceedings ????

A Digital Reporter is the person responsible for recording legal proceedings using specialized audio equipment, ensuring everything is captured clearly so it can be turned into an official transcript.

???? Schedule: Hybrid – Client Sites | Monday–Friday


Training & Certification
  • Hired candidates will complete Digital Reporter training prior to start date
  • Company-supported AAERT certification to set you up for long-term success

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Reporting (Training Provided): Administer oaths and support depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings in office and professional settings
  • Technology Operations: Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio equipment for in-person and remote proceedings
  • Document Preparation: Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks when not assigned to legal proceedings

Requirements
  • Tech-Savvy (Required): Comfortable working with computers, software, and audio equipment
  • Typing Skills: Minimum typing speed of 55+ WPM (typing test required)
  • Communication: Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Notary: Ability to obtain a State Notary Commission (assistance provided; existing Notary is a plus)
  • AAERT Certification: Training and certification provided prior to start date
