Your Recipe for Impact - What You'll Do
As a Vendor Services Specialist, you'll help ensure the vendor programs that support our restaurants run smoothly, efficiently, and with excellence. In this role, you'll partner with internal teams and external service providers to coordinate critical services, maintain operational standards, and support new restaurant openings and remodels. Your work helps us Make a Difference by delivering reliable support to restaurant operations, Serve with Heart through responsive partnership and service, Win as One by collaborating across teams and vendors, and Move Forward Boldly by helping drive continuous improvement and operational success across the business.
Day-to-Day Ingredients - Responsibilities
As a Vendor Services Specialist, you will:
  • Monitor vendor performance and service level agreement (SLA) compliance
  • Coordinate service requests between Operations and vendor partners
  • Support onboarding of new vendors and distribution of required documentation
  • Maintain vendor records, databases, and service documentation
  • Track inspections, regulatory services, and recurring service schedules
  • Assist with vendor sourcing research and contract administration activities
  • Evaluate service requests outside existing agreements and support cost analyses
  • Coordinate vendor-supported services for new restaurant openings and remodels
  • Identify service issues and help drive timely resolution
  • Support process improvements that enhance service quality and consistency

What You Bring to the Table - Required Experience
As a Vendor Services Specialist, you must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Extra Toppings - Desired Experience
As a Vendor Services Specialist, we prefer you to have:
Experience supporting vendor management or supplier programs
Experience monitoring service delivery, service agreements, or operational performance metrics
Knowledge of contract administration processes
Experience coordinating projects, remodels, or multi-location service programs
Familiarity with restaurant, retail, hospitality, or multi-unit operations
Experience working with vendor management, procurement, or work-order systems
Where & How You'll Work
This role is based at the San Antonio Home Office, working on-site Monday through Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays. In this role, you'll have strong collaboration with leadership, across cross-functional teams, and with external partners to align capabilities with restaurant realities. The work environment is fast-paced and requires sound judgment, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills. Full-time availability is required, with occasional extended hours based on business needs, along with occasional travel to properties, project sites, and external meetings. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the San Antonio Home Office.
