Professionally, you'll experience the benefits of collaborating with seasoned educators and specialists, learning diverse approaches for supporting speech and language development in elementary students. This role enriches your career, allowing you to contribute meaningfully while expanding your resume with hands-on, school-based experience.

Your Role:

  • Provide direct therapy to students in grades 2-3
  • Support a caseload of approximately 28–30 students
  • Work on-site at Altoona Elementary School (teletherapy not preferred)
  • Daily schedule: 7:15 AM – 3:15 PM, up to 40 hours/week
  • Collaborate with SLP supervisors, teachers, and staff
  • Deliver clear, empathetic communication with families
  • Contribute positively to students' unique educational journeys

Benefits and Perks:

  • Non-taxable stipends and travel support
  • Premium compensation
  • Healthcare benefits and 401(k)
  • Job security in a long-term assignment
  • Professional growth in a supportive school setting
