The Role

FADER Label is seeking a A&R Coordinator to support the discovery, signing, and development of emerging artists. Reporting to the GM of FADER Music Group, this individual will assist in identifying new talent, building relationships across the creative community, and supporting artist projects from signing through release.


The ideal candidate has exceptional musical taste, a strong understanding of today's music landscape, and a genuine passion for discovering and developing artists.


What You'll Do

  • Identify and evaluate emerging artists through live performances, streaming platforms, social media, and industry networks.
  • Attend concerts, showcases, festivals, writing sessions, and other industry events to discover new talent.
  • Build and maintain relationships with artists, managers, producers, songwriters, and other members of the creative community.
  • Prepare artist research, market analysis, and A&R reports to support signing opportunities.
  • Assist in coordinating recording sessions, creative meetings, and artist development initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Creative, Digital, Business Affairs, and Operations teams throughout the lifecycle of artist projects.
  • Track project timelines and ensure internal teams are aligned on key milestones.
  • Maintain A&R databases, demo submissions, and artist information.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, genres, and cultural movements across the music industry.

Who You Are

  • 0-2 years of experience in the music industry, including internships at a record label, management company, music publisher, agency, or related organization.
  • Demonstrated passion for discovering and developing artists.
  • Strong knowledge of today's music landscape across genres, platforms, and emerging cultural trends.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for concerts, showcases, and industry events.
