  • Financial & Revenue Management: Drive the profitability and overall health of assigned projects in alignment with team and company goals. Maintain strict accuracy of labor production hours, ensuring proper labor cost code allocation. Actively engage with the pre-construction team during the estimating process and manage project cash flow to maintain a positive position.
  • Project & Asset Management: Take complete ownership of assigned projects and provide guidance to subordinate project staff. Deliver accurate project estimates and change orders. Facilitate critical project milestones including kick-off meetings, peer reviews, and lessons-learned sessions.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain transparent communication regarding project status with the team and operations. Provide the Senior Project Manager and upper leadership with accurate data on job costs and completion status. Generate and maintain detailed project schedules and complete monthly credit card reconciliations on time. Review all project documents (Submittals, RFIs, drawing revisions, close-outs) for technical accuracy.
  • Culture & Leadership: Uphold quality control standards. Foster a positive, collaborative work climate across the organization. Mentor, lead, and develop both direct and indirect subordinates, executing company directives effectively.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of six (6) years of construction trade experience is preferred, ideally within the electrical trade.
  • Technical Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude and an in-depth understanding of code and practical installation processes. Proficiency in reading construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and maintain complex project schedules.
  • Systems & Licensure: Skilled in MS Office and standard industry software for project management, estimating, and accounting. Possession of an NC State Unlimited or Masters License (or equivalent out-of-state credentials) is highly valued.
