Work Environment

This full-time position is set within the community-oriented home care setting of Bridgeport, CT. Our dedicated office team supports our therapists with administrative tasks, allowing them to focus on what they do best: delivering high-quality patient care. The hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work schedule conducive to both professional growth and personal life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions through initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to create effective treatment plans.
  • Deliver individualized therapy interventions, focusing on strengthening exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and strategies for ongoing care and improved mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress, using EMR software such as WebPT.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment.
  • Modify treatment programs based on patient progress and ongoing assessments to optimize outcomes.
  • Implement cost-effective treatment options that prioritize non-surgical interventions and minimal reliance on medications.
  • Motivate patients through their recovery journeys, celebrating milestones and progress while addressing challenges.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at C.A.R.E Physical Therapy, PLLC, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your contribution will significantly impact patients' daily lives, enabling them to regain functional mobility and independence. Qualifications

Preferred Experience

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in an outpatient or home health physical therapy setting is required. Familiarity with managing a varied patient caseload and a proven record of successfully enhancing patient outcomes through inventive treatment strategies is highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 60,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
