Cardiology Clinic Medical Biller

Our client, a well-established Cardiology Clinic with locations in Torrance and Koreatown, is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Medical Biller who can also assist with front office responsibilities. Full Time Permanent Position Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM On-Site at Torrance and Koreatown offices Competitive Pay Rate Quick and Streamlined Hiring Process

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit insurance claims promptly
  • Follow up on outstanding claims and resubmit denied claims as needed
  • Monitor insurance responses and ensure timely and accurate payment processing
  • Manage and work through Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging reports
  • Post insurance and patient payments into the EMR system
  • Identify and implement solutions to resolve claim issues
  • Answer phones and assist the clinic with front office duties

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent medical billing experience in an outpatient clinic, preferably in cardiology
  • Proficient in navigating the medical insurance billing process
  • Knowledgeable in ICD-10 and ICD-11 coding standards
  • Highly proficient with computers and billing software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong follow-up skills with a demonstrated sense of urgency
